We are getting ready to say goodbye to our friends leaving for Kindergarten! But while we are sad to see them go we have made lots of amazing memories.
In April we planted a garden of blue pinwheels to show our support. The blue pinwheel, introduced by Prevent Child Abuse America in 2008, is the national symbol for child abuse prevention. It represents the joy and playfulness of childhood. We spoke about how all children deserve to be safe!
We had lots of fun growing our minds and bodies with Coach Bill. He teaches us how to be healthy in mind and body with age appropriate yoga and exercise!
We watched our caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies and then released them in our garden. And have been watching our strawberries grow from seedlings to full-grown plants.
We also said goodbye to one of our longtime teachers, Ms. Maureen, who retired after working in our infant room for over 20 years.
